How it works

Fifteen minutes, door to door.

Book a time that fits around your day.

  1. Pick your time.

    Choose a 15-minute slot on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, over lunch or at the end of the day.

  2. Come by a few minutes early.

    Take a breath, fix your collar. Everyone has their own time, so there’s no line and no waiting.

  3. Ten minutes in front of the camera.

    We’ll guide you through a few looks and expressions until it feels like you.

  4. Pick your favorites.

    We’ll send a private proof gallery soon after your session. Choose your 3, and your retouched images land within a week of your session, ready for LinkedIn, your website, or your next bio.

Held with a $125 deposit · the balance is charged before your session.

Behind the camera

Daysee was started by two Brooklyn moms who wanted to bring back the neighborhood portrait studio.

With over two decades of experience photographing families and little ones all around the world, we bring an authentic yet editorial eye, a lot of patience, and a knack for making everyone feel at ease.

Our work has been featured in The New York Times, Town & Country, Marie Claire, Vogue Business, People and TODAY. We’ve been on Hollywood billboards and Times Square marquees. But the photographs we care about most are yours.

FAQ

Good questions.

What should I wear?

Whatever you’d wear to the meeting that matters. Solid colors photograph best; skip busy patterns and logos. Feel free to bring a second top or a jacket.

What if I’m late, or my meeting runs over?

We hold your spot for 5 minutes. After that, we’ll fit you in if the day allows, or help you rebook (a $50 reschedule fee may apply).

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

Not really. Come as you are, and we’ll handle the light, the angles and the nerves.

Can I bring my kids along?

This one’s just for you. When you want the whole crew in the frame, that’s The Family Days.

Booking policies

  • Held with a $125 deposit · the balance is charged before your session · the deposit is non-refundable
  • Plans change. Reschedule free up to 48 hours before · $50 fee within 48 hours
  • Running late? We hold your spot for 5 minutes · after that, we’ll fit you in if we can, or a $50 reschedule fee may apply
  • Cancel within 48 hours and it’s charged at 50% · same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged in full
